Mental Health Awareness and Fundrasier
When I coached at Stanford, during the month of November we raised funds and awareness for mental health issues through our Movember campaign. I wanted to continue to bring attention to mental health issues and have focused efforts on raising funds for the Jed Foundation, a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults, giving them the skills and support they need to thrive today…and tomorrow. See how you can help below.

01
Purchase a Sweatshirt
Sweatshirts are $67, and you can either Venmo me (https://venmo.com/danielrasay) or donate directly to the Jed Foundation and email me the receipt (https://jedfoundation.org/donate/).
02
Check-In With Someone
Ask someone how they are REALLY doing. If someone seems like they are not their usual self, see if they want to grab coffee or lunch and chat.

03
Grow your Stache
The mustache is a great conversation starter to talk about the importance of mental health issues.
04
Think About Identity
Identity is crucial to our self-worth and confidence. Think about what you love about yourself and what makes you special.
