Mental Health Awareness and Fundrasier
When I coached at Stanford, during the month of November we raised funds and awareness for mental health issues through our Movember campaign. I wanted to continue to bring attention to mental health issues and have focused efforts on raising funds for the Jed Foundation, a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults, giving them the skills and support they need to thrive today…and tomorrow. See how you can help below.
01
Grow Your Stache
My mustache is nothing to write home about but it starts conversations. It is a billboard on my upper lip that I use to talk about mental health.
02
Check-In With Someone
Ask someone how they are REALLY doing. If someone seems like they are not their usual self, see if they want to grab coffee or lunch and chat.
03
Buy An R.P.C. Shirt
These shirts have the RPC logo along with a mustache and the suicide and crisis hotline number on the sleeve. Shirts are $45 and there are only a limited number. You can Venmo me @DanielRasay. Proceeds will go to the Jed Foundation
04
Donate and Win a Prize
You can either donate straight to the Jed Foundation and send me the receipt or Venmo me (@DanielRasay). For each dollar you donate, your name will go into the raffle to win a tumbler.
